Millennium Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a new set of objectives that seek to end poverty, fight against inequality and injustice, protect the environment and combat climate change. They are a consequence of the UN millennium development objectives, which expired at the end of 2015.

We have been listening to the SDGs for a while; These three extended acronyms and at the same time not so known by all who have filled social networks, the social responsibility of companies, political speeches and the corporate ideology of any entity that boasts. They are identified as sustainable development objectives and are the springboard that has promoted the sustainability of the planet and the bridge through which we are traveling towards that desired social transformation.

True development can only be sustainable, therefore, we must empower society and transmit the great need for the SDGs and the important specific goals that must be achieved in the coming years, specifically from here to 2030. The sustainable development objectives are The greatest challenges we face as a society, and are increasingly generating an important advance and progress and a call to collective action that directs us towards global aspirations of all and for all.

True development can only be sustainable

From our NGO Recycles Alicante we are working intensely to contribute to our work to the fulfillment of the SDGs, in addition to jointly sharing the three dimensions they cover; Social development, economic growth and environmental protection. Goals that are indivisible since you have to fight intensely to achieve all of them in addition to being among all interrelated, although they must be treated and approached in parallel. In our NGO we have implemented them as an essential guide not only in the professional but personal field. Each of us must be involved in this noble feat and transversally apply the principles and values of the SDGs to our lifestyle.
